Vandag is 'n baie spesiale dag vir my.  Ek is 'n groot ondersteuner van Mandela dag en wens hierdie merkwaardige man baie geluk met sy 95ste Verjaarsdag.

APARTHEID
Ek het egter gemengde gevoelens oor hoe die anti-apartheid sage hanteer word.  Ek is ook teen apartheid omdat almal 'n plekkie in die son moet he, dit is immers soos die Here dit ook wil he. Ek word wel ook op gereelde basis boos oor die swak diens in hierdie land en daar is baie wat ek graag anders sou wou he.

Ek kan nie verstaan waarom wit (jong) mense soms/gereeld ook betrek word mbt die apartheidsjare nie.  Ons was nie deel van daardie "mars" nie, waarom word ons OOK verantwoordelik gehou...(ek sal later bietjie meer hierop wil ingaan)

Soos ek beloof het sal ek gereel blog en die "sekere" media wat nie die waarheid praat nie, reghelp met my kant van die storie.

Op News 24 lees ek die volgende raak:

Sanger se gay huwelik lek uit

Kaapstad - Dit was die enigste geheim waarvan hul aanhangers nie moes uitvind nie - Rudi Claase (27) en Corlea Botha (23) van Ons Lieflinge-faam het vas geglo hul musiekloopbaan sou verby wees as die publiek ooit moes uitvind Rudi is met ’n man getroud. Die week nadat hierdie nuus gebreek het, was dit die Lieflinge se beste verkope ooit. 

Nou het die nuus in ‘n poniekoerant uitgelek en Huisgenoot berig dat Claase teen die grond is oor hierdie bekendmaking. Dit was glad nie die geval nie, dit was bloot 'n privaate aangeleentheid wat niks met die media tedoen gehad het nie.

Volgens Huisgenoot is Claase is glo vroëer vanjaar in die Pretoriase landdroshof met sy bestuurder, Stephen Stewart (28), getroud. Dit is waar

“Hy is emosioneel en platgeslaan en baie depressief,” het ‘n goeie vriend aan Huisgenoot gesê.

Die tydskrif berig ook dat die sanger na bewering aan bipolêre gemoedsteurnis ly en dat hy ’n onmiddellik ‘n psigiater gaan spreek het om sy medikasie aan te pas nadat die nuus oor sy huwelik uitgelek het. Dit is 'n leun.

“Rudi en Corlea is beste maatjies, sy ondersteun hom,” het ‘n vriendin van hulle aan Huisgenoot vertel.

Sowat 85 000 van dié twee se CD, Ons Lieflinge/Our Darlings-album, wat verlede Augustus deur Fantasia Musiek uitgereik is, is al verkoop en amper 80 000 eksemplare hul opvolgalbum, Drome.

Claase skryf ook gereeld liedjies vir sterre soos Juanita du Plessis, Theuns Jordaan, Arno Jordaan, Rina Hugo en Sonja Herholdt.

HIER WAS DIE VOLLE STORIE IN HUISGENOOT:


Hulle is die prentjie van volmaakte harmonie. Twee, maar eintlik een. ’n Sangpaar met hoë agting vir waardes soos vriendskap, liefde en integriteit.

Dis immers van die hoekstene waarop die duet-paar Rudi Claase (27) en Corlea Botha (23) hul wenresep van die afgelope twee jaar gebou het.

 

Maar elke af en toe slaan daar tog ’n krakie in die sangpaar wat al as “Ons Lieflinge” bekend geword het, se mondering deur.

Soos onlangs weer, toe die Lieflinge ’n Kaapse gehoor ontstig het nadat hulle op die nippertjie hul optrede by die Afri-Klassiek-musiekvertoning in die Grand Arena by die GrandWest-casino gekanselleer het.

En hoewel dit op die oppervlak lyk asof daar nie onmin tussen die twee boesemvriende is wat mekaar al 13 jaar lank ken nie, wil die gerugte oor professionele jaloesie maar net nie gaan lê nie. Daar is selfs fluisteringe oor die begin van die einde vir Rudi (27) en Corlea (23) . . .

Verlede Oktober reeds, kort nadat Rudi in die tydskrif Huisgenoot-Pols openhartig oor sy bipolêre gemoedsteurnis gepraat het, het die sangpaar bevestig dat hulle voor meer as 4 000 aanhangers by die Kaapstadse konsert sou optree.

“Twee dae voor die konsert het Stephen Stewart, hul bestuurder, my laat weet hulle sal moontlik nie kan kom nie,” vertel Bennie Robinson van Crescendo Musiek, regisseur en vervaardiger van die konsert.

Stephen, Rudi se man en die sangpaar se bestuurder, het laat weet dat hulle eers teen die Vrydag sou kon bevestig of Rudi & Corlea wel sal kan optree. Laat Vrydagmiddag het die nuus toe gekom: Rudi sal weens gesondheidsredes nie kan optree nie – sy psigiater het slaapterapie aanbeveel.

Rudi se stryd met bipolêre gemoedsteurnis is geen geheim nie. En toe sy huwelik met Stephen (28) verlede jaar op die lappe kom, het gerugte dat hy weer met die siekte stoei, opnuut opgevlam.

In Januarie het hy vertel die aanhangers hoef nie in die minste bekommerd te wees nie; hy wen die stryd en is piekfyn en gesond. Maar nou lyk sake ietwat anders, en die psigiater het siekteverlof tot 2 Februarie voorgeskryf. “Die doktersbrief wat ons gekry het, sê hy kry slaapterapie en is af weens spanning,” vertel Bennie.

Ongeag die terugslag het Corlea steeds soos ’n ware ster opgetree. Sy het saam met haar ma, Mesadi Botha, wat haar altyd vergesel, afgevlieg en die gehoor self verskoning gevra.
“Corlea, wat in een van haar balrokke uitgevat was, het op die verhoog verskyn, mooi vir die gehoor verduidelik dat hulle ongelukkig nie kan optree nie, vir hulle gewaai en toe afgestap.”
Saterdagoggend voor die konsert het Bennie nog gehoop Rudi & Corlea sou wel kon optree, maar nadat die psigiater Rudi glo weer geëvalueer het, het hy finaal bevestig dat die talentvolle sanger en liedjie-skrywer nié moet optree nie.

Agterna sou konsertgangers wel wonder: As Corlea dan wel daar was, hoekom het sy nie maar alleen opgetree nie?

DIE LIEFLINGE (RUDI EN CORLEA) SE REELING WAS, AS DIE EEN SIEK WAS DAT DIE ANDER EEN NIE ALLEEN (LIEFLINGE) SAL OPTREE NIE. IN BEIDE SE GEVAL HET DIT AL GEBEUR.

’n Gevstigde musikant van Hartbeespoortdam (gevestig? Nie een cd winkel in DIE HELE SUID AFRIKA BESIT EEN VAN SY CDS NIE EN HET OOK NOG NOOIT NIE, EK HET UITGEVIND) sê Stephen Stewart – wat homself ’n “bobaas bemarker” en “die goue hand agter die sukses van Suid-Afrikaanse kunstenaars” soos Rudi Claase noem – het glo byna sy SANGLOOPBAAN VERWOES VOOR DIT BEGIN HET! (hier weerspreek SONDAG HULLE WEEREENS)

Heino Robberts, deesdae ’n gevestigde musikant, het dié week aan Sondag gesê hy wil talentvolle jongmense teen Stewart waarsku. Stewart is die ou wat sowat twee jaar gelede ’n ring aan Rudi Claase van Lieflinge-faam se vinger gesteek het. (Hierdie Joernalis moet gewiks word, Sondag, voorsien my asb van sy cv...hy kan nie 'n joeranlis wees nie. Media 24, hoe kan julle dit toelaat???)

Hy was tot onlangs toe ook Claase se bestuurder. Sondag het verlede week berig dat die tweetjies se huwelik glo nie meer maanskyn en rose is nadat Stewart volgens skindertonge vir Claase verneuk het met ’n ander man nie .Robberts, wat aanvanklik maar gesukkel het in die musiekbedryf, het deesdae sy eie musiek- en platemaatskappy 10uit10-Musiek.

(Hierdie outjie/dogtertjie) het my probeer kontak en siek stalkende sms'e heeltyd gestuur na my foon toe.  Hy is verskriklik onaantreklik en sy stem het ek op Youtube gehoor en nee my mens, gaan dokter toe asb, want ek weet nie waar is die grootste probleem nie, met jou stem of jou kop...wonder maar net.
